PhD Dissertation Award

Polish Communication Association PhD Dissertation Award has been given annually since 2009 year. The main goals of the Award is to promote and support the young generation of scientists whose studies present best quality as for methodology and scientific narration and to integrate scholars dealing with communication and media problems.

  • 2012 - Magdalena Ślawska, PhD ‘Dialogue forms in journalistic genres’, PhD thesis supervisor: professor Małgorzata Kita (University of Silesia);
  • 2013 –Wojciech Maguś, PhD ‘Media images of candidates in presidential election in Poland 2010’, PhD thesis supervisor: professor Iwona Hofman (UMCS);
